The 27^{th<\/sup> Research Days | UNIFESP-EPM<\/strong> will be held in S\u00e3o Paulo from December 11 e 12, 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n}

The “Research Days” event was created in 1999 aiming to stimulate and improve the scientific production at the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences of the Federal University of Sao Paulo (UNIFESP). The 2-days meeting includes presentation of papers and posters by residents, fellows and postgraduate students. All the papers\/posters are presented in english and are discussed by the department staff. The best scientific work in each category receives an award.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the second edition of the Research Days in 2000, two improvements were made. The first one was the participation of international well-known investigators. The second was the presence of students from other post-graduation programs from Brazil and other latin-american countries. Approximately 50% of the papers are presented at the annual meeting of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) in Fort Lauderdale, USA.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
